BB Art Update, etc.

dancing_adriftHello, LiveJournal! :) Feels like it's been a while. That's possibly due in part to the fact that I have been keeping insanely busy, both in real life and with making art for my ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
spn_j2_bigbang claim. We can probably write this off on account of this being my first Big Bang, but I may have seriously over-extended myself. Seriously, I am insane for the amount of art I am determined to do. I'm really pleased with how most of it's turned out so far, but I'm barely even half-way done and I have nine days before we post. I've already met the 'requirement' for BB posting, but I haven't met my *own*. I guess we'll just see how it goes, and cross that bridge when we come to it. akintay*) has been more than amazing - so incredibly lucky I got her - but I'm still super afraid that I won't finish and it'll be this big letdown, lol. But I got a bunch of work done yesterday, and I'm going to keep plugging away at it right up until the final hour if I have to.
In semi-related news, I finally broke down and signed up for thespn_heatwave. I figure it'll be good to keep myself actively arting after BB is over, and this seems like a pretty chill way to do so. (On an unrelated note, does anyone else have the issue where LJ turns the word 'figure' - f i g u r e - into the word 'div' when it's viewed on the mobile app? Oddest problem I've ever seen, lol.) Anyhoo, as most of my BB art has been grayscale, I'm looking forward to creating something summery and *colorful* for the Heatwave comm/challenge thing. Also super psyched to see what other people create :) I've been seeing a lot of meanttobe art and fic postings lately, which is awesome also! Communities and challenges are definitely the reason to be on LJ, and I'm glad to be here :)

Just you wait, you'll see O.o *laughs slightly hysterically, lol* I am enjoying it, and I'm learning a lot, and getting LOTS of drawing practice, but deadlines always make me anxious, especially when I don't feel like I'm fully on top of things, lol.
Yay, more mtb!! :D *is excited*
And, haha! I'm so glad to know I'm not alone. LJ has some strange quirks, lol.
