Round 1: submit short stories until April 30th; create art before May 31st

ANYhoo, I'm super excited about this for a lot of reasons. Probably the number one reason is that I've claimed a fic!, and I'm going to make some art!!! :D I'm lucky enough to get to draw something up for alycat's sexy J2 story inspired by the SPN episode "Just My Imagination". You can (and should!) check it out here ("Bring Me a Dream" - Jared is a glittery Zanna and it's awesome! :D).

Another reason I'm excited is that I went and submitted one of my own fics (see?) << That's just the prompt, but there's a link to the fic(s) there. I also recently cross-posted them here on LJ. It doesn't seem like many (any?) other fics are claimed yet, and I don't really expect much, but it'd be pretty damn cool if someone wanted to make art for one/both/either of my fics.

The final reason I'm excited (besides the inherent coolness of the collaboration that is a natural part of these sort of things) is because, all of the fics that are being submitted for art-claims, well, it's a built-in rec list! I've read a few already, and all of them have been great. If I get done with this first art claim fast enough, I'd be strongly tempted to claim another. Just sayin' ;) I'm really looking forward to seeing what all comes from this first round of the Quicky!Bang ^_^

guh. The more I re-read your story for visuals, the more I find myself daydreaming about a sequel - when Jensen's a little older, and (when? if?) Jared makes himself visible to *everyone*. What would it be like for them to have a relationship out in the open, in the real world, human and Zanna? (Though to other humans, Jared would probably just seem like an abnormally glittery person...) Like, would Jensen go off to college and then bring Jared home to his parents, pretending they'd met at school?

Yeah. Lol. *happily daydreams*

P.S. I'm pretty sure the main piece is post-ready; just want to make those dividers for you and then we'll be seeing some Quicky_Bang art posted! :D

Hee, "a built-in rec list", indeed: I've been rolling around in those fics as well the last couple of days;) Was going to give other artists a chance to pick first, but I'm not waiting any longer!! *grabby hands* (Several of my friends have told me they are too busy to join in, their loss I say!)

haha, right? I was thinking I'd give other artists a chance too...but then I just couldn't wait anymore, and I'm so glad I claimed when I did! I'm really close to being done with this first claim. Who knows, just might be that I'll have time to claim a second fic! *feels greedy saying that, but hey! snooze you lose, right? ;)*
