Summary: Jared and friends are biking through the Rockies on a multi-day road-trip for his 30th birthday. Jensen is the bartender at their last stop.

Author's Note: This was written as part of the "Selfie!Bang" - a challenge in which I, non_tiembo_mala, and gluedwithgold each wrote a fic based off the prompt below. This was an interesting experience for us, because we often can be very involved in each others' writing, from concept to beta; this time, however, we wrote completely separately, so everything about our stories was a surprise when we finally posted. It was really fun to see the variations and similarities that occurred. Plus, for me, it really pushed me to write more. This is the longest fic I've ever written, by a LONG shot, and I'm pretty proud of myself for being able to accomplish that. Anyhoo, enough from me. Fic Rec: J2 Selfie!Bang - Round One!

So, non_tiembo_mala, gluedwithgold, and I recently completed our own little fic-writing challenge over on AO3. Inspired by this picture that Jared Padalecki posted to facebook back in January, we all wrote fics (completely autonomously) and then posted them under in a collection. It was very challenging, firstly because we're not used to being able to rely on each other for help during any part of the writing process. Secondly, and more specifically for me, it was challenging because this is the longest fic I've ever written. I have some in the works that might end up being just as long, but my longest complete fic up to this point had only been 2.6K words - this one is over 16K! I've gotta say, I'm pretty damn proud of the progress I've made as a writer through this challenge. Anyhoo, without further ado, here are the fics!
