non_tiembo_mala, gluedwithgold, and I recently completed our own little fic-writing challenge over on AO3. Inspired by this picture that Jared Padalecki posted to facebook back in January, we all wrote fics (completely autonomously) and then posted them under in a collection. It was very challenging, firstly because we're not used to being able to rely on each other for help during any part of the writing process. Secondly, and more specifically for me, it was challenging because this is the longest fic I've ever written. I have some in the works that might end up being just as long, but my longest complete fic up to this point had only been 2.6K words - this one is over 16K! I've gotta say, I'm pretty damn proud of the progress I've made as a writer through this challenge. Anyhoo, without further ado, here are the fics!
