Well, you OBVIOUSLY put a LOT of time into your art and it deserves comment. Fandom is so fractured these days I think readers get lazy and don't bother commenting, but you have to know they're still looking and reading and it's ALWAYS wonderful to find the full art link still up. So I don't blame you at all for stalking llinks! You should post links in SPN_fanart https://spn-fanart.livejournal.com or https://supernaturalart.livejournal.com or even open a tumblr or twitter account and get some love!
And yes 2:3 proportioned (or thereabouts) Posters make wonderful book covers. I love when my iPad has all nice covers and now AO3 supports cover art (if it's included in the story, the first piece of art, I usually stick mine in the notes to be sure it becomes the cover) And it looks so nice!
