Don't get me wrong - I loooooove me some tropes... I just feel so unoriginal when I play into them for prompts! Makes me even more nervous they won't get picked. But backrose_17 jumped right on it, so I didn't have to worry, lol.
You are one of the people who inspires me to talk about 'my process' at all - I too enjoy hearing and seeing how creativity happens. I briefly saw your post for your own RB prompt, and I look forward to giving it more proper attention soon!
